YELANG Watch Automatic Helium Release System
The YELANG watch features an innovative technology that incorporates an automatic helium release valve on the left side of the case. When the wearer ascends from the depths of the ocean to the surface, the automatic helium release valve allows gases inside the watch to escape, preventing the surface from deforming or even breaking under the pressure of the water, thereby further enhancing the watch's waterproof performance.
The Impact of Water Pressure on Watches
Deep-sea diving watches have many technical requirements, one of which is helium release. When deep-sea divers are submerged in a diving bell, they are exposed to air that is rich in helium. Meanwhile, water pressure gradually increases, allowing tiny helium molecules to permeate the watch.
As the diver ascends close to the water's surface, they need to remain inside the diving bell for a specific period to adapt to the atmospheric pressure changes. During this time, internal pressure builds up within the watch, and excess helium molecules need to be released.
If not, this pressure could cause irreversible damage to the watch.
